Compensation and Benefits:

  • Compensation: Hourly wage, adjusted based on experience.
  • Benefits: Seasonal position eligible for a season pass for employee/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available.

Job Summary:

Killington/Pico Ski Resort is hiring Parking Attendants. We’re looking for people that enjoy being outside and possess a helpful disposition. We’re all about having a good time and experiencing all these mountains have to offer, while providing the best possible experience for our guests. Summary of Key Responsibilities: 

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: 

  • Expedite the routing of incoming traffic to ensure a safe, convenient, and well-organized entrance experience to all parking facilities
  • Direct vehicles to appropriate parking locations
  • Set up and remove traffic cones and barriers in accordance with daily lot procedures
  • Monitor and adjust traffic control signs for changing conditions and status
  • Perform staffing and/or traffic control
  • Maintain all parking equipment, vehicles, and tools in good condition
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices of work areas, locker facilities, work sites, and company vehicles
  • Removal of snow by shoveling or machine of parking lot stairways and common areas
  • Monitor traffic flow and close parking lots as directed
  • Follow safety procedures and utilize appropriate safety equipment
  • Report all repair/replacement needs to the department manager
  • Use proper radio procedures with parking and operations staff
  • Use of PPE at all times
  • Provide courteous, accurate, and reliable information to the guest regarding weather and ski reports, special events, activities, and general knowledge of the resort

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 18 yrs old
  • Must have a reliable source of personal transportation
  • Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
  • Must have the ability to work in adverse weather conditions and perform a variety of duties
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must have excellent guest service skills
  • Must be mature, reliable and courteous
  • Positive work ethic
