Job description

Job Title: PD Physical Therapist

Location: MMC Southern Campus

Department Name: Physical Therapy

Req #: 0000250600

Status: Hourly

Shift: Day

Pay Range: $70.95 - $70.95 per hour

Pay Transparency:

The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Evaluates, plans and implements Physical Therapy treatment in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Must meet basic professional entry-level educational requirements from an accredited physical therapy program,
  • Licensed to work in the state of NJ,
  • BLS Certification through the American Heart Association,
  • Computer literate,
  • Successful completion of all required orientation programs,

Preferred:

  • Acute care experience 

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Day Shift
  • Per Diem Scheduling

Essential Functions:

  • Analyzes gait to make appropriate recommendations for assisted devices.
  • Assesses the patients’ balance, coordination, proprioception abilities
  • Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive services to meet individual needs
  • Develops a treatment plan based on patients’ functional abilities
  • Evaluates and treats the muscular, skeletal, neurological and cardiovascular patients
  • Makes referral recommendations for additional patient care services as required
  • Works with the referring physician for individual needs
  • Performs other duties as assigned
