Job description:

Content & Creator Lead — Short-Form Video (TikTok / Reels / Shorts)

Company: Patsco Windshield Repair Location: 5635 NW Central Dr, Houston, TX 77092 — in person, with regular shoot days at our repair locations. Job type: Full-time Pay: $54,000–$74,000/year + performance bonus tied to the sales you generate

About us

We invented and patented the Patsco Windshield Repair Patch — a $20, made-in-USA product that fixes rock chips in 20 minutes, sold on Amazon and patscopatch.com. We also run real brick-and-mortar windshield repair shops in Texas. The product works and the distribution exists. Now we're building the content and creator side from zero, and we're hiring one person to own it.

The role

This is not a "social media manager" job. You won't be making branded graphics or managing a content calendar. Half the job is making short-form video yourself. The other half is recruiting and managing other creators who make videos about our product for commission. You'll be the first person on this — you build the machine.

What you'll do:

  • Shoot, edit, and post 4–5 native short-form videos per week across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Phone-shot, fast, native to the platform — we don't want polish, we want watch time.
  • Film on location at our repair shops: real rock chips, real repairs, real technicians. You'll have unlimited authentic material most brands would kill for.
  • Test hooks relentlessly ($20 vs. $500 replacement, satisfying-repair, fix-it-before-winter, skeptic test) and double down on what the numbers say.
  • Come up with original concepts — recurring series, characters, stunts, and angles nobody else in the category is doing. We're not looking to copy what other brands post.
  • Build our creator program: find and message 20+ relevant creators per week, ship product samples, and manage relationships through TikTok Shop, Levanta, and Amazon Creator Connections.
  • Flag winning videos for paid amplification (Spark Ads / whitelisting) and secure repost rights on everything.
  • Own a simple weekly scoreboard: posts shipped, views, outreach sent, creators activated, attributable sales.

You're probably the right person if

  • You've personally grown a short-form account — yours or a brand's — and can show videos with real view counts. A 15k-follower account with videos that regularly outperform it beats years of agency experience.
  • You're an idea machine. You bring fresh, original video concepts every week — more than we could ever shoot — and your best ideas are the ones nobody assigned you.
  • You edit fast, ideally on your phone (CapCut or similar), and you're comfortable on camera or directing someone who is.
  • You instinctively talk about hooks, the first two seconds, and watch time — not "brand voice" and "posting cadence."
  • You're organized enough to run an outreach pipeline in a spreadsheet, week after week, without being chased.
  • You're self-directed. This is a build-from-zero role with real creative freedom and no committee.

Nice to have (not required): freelance UGC experience, TikTok Shop or affiliate marketing familiarity, basic paid social (Meta / TikTok Ads), bilingual English/Spanish.

What we offer

  • $54k–$74k base depending on experience, plus a performance bonus tied directly to the sales your content and creator program generate. When it works, you get paid more.
  • Creative freedom: we judge results, not taste. Rough-and-native beats polished-and-dead, and we know it.
  • A direct line to the owner. No layers, no approval chains.
  • A genuinely fun product to make content for: instant before/after payoff, $20 vs. a $500 replacement, satisfying on camera.
  • The chance to own a growth story end to end — from zero followers to a channel and creator network you built yourself.

How to apply

Apply in person: Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 10:00am. 5635 NW Central Dr, Houston, TX 77092

Skip the cover letter. Bring:

  • Your phone, ready to show 2–3 short-form videos you made, with view counts and a note on what your role was.
  • One hook you'd test in your first week for a $20 windshield chip repair patch — be ready to pitch it in under a minute.
  • Resume optional. Your videos are your resume.

Finalists get a paid test project (~$200): we hand you the product, you deliver two short videos with different hooks plus ten sample creator outreach messages within one week. We hire from the test, not the interview.

Company Description

Patrick McClain founded Patsco Windshield Repair in August, 1995. Patsco started out as a part time job that eventually turned into full time.
I never planned on getting into a business. My wife and I was just having fun, camping out on the beach near Galveston on July 4, 1995. After showering, we were walking back to the truck, our feet were covered with sand and I said out loud, they should make sandals to keep the stand off your feet. Within a week, I made the first prototype sandals, then filed for a patent which was granted.
Out of a need to finance the production of the sandals, I started a windshield repair business on weekends to generate extra money.
My job at the time refused to give me time off to show my sandals, so I quit and started repairing windshields full time. Within one year we had 4 locations and are now in several cities in Texas.
A few years ago I discovered a simpler way to fix windshields without drilling or using an injector. I invented The Patsco Patch, it’s easy to use and effective in repairing rock chips.

Describing the vision behind the emergence of Patsco, the founder Patrick McClain explains: “I had been searching for a simpler method to repair windshields for a few years when I came across one that did not need drilling or the use of an injector. This way, I managed to devise the idea for the Patsco Patch, which is both an efficient and simple method of fixing rock chips.”
Notwithstanding, its innovative features, it is very straightforward to use the Patsco Patch. To install the kit, there are solely four steps in this procedure: stick it on, press it on, peel it off, and seal it, and you are done with it!! Using this Windshield Repair Patch, repairing a chip on your vehicle's glass is a straightforward and uncomplicated process. In this manner, it will only take you about twenty minutes to repair the rock chip in your windshield and maintain the structure of your vehicle.
Overall, this cutting-edge window chip repair kit eliminates the need for drills or injectors, and it comes with two patches and liquid glass resin. As the core proof of the innovation of this product, the Patsco Windshield Repair Patch for Innovative Auto Glass Repair was awarded Patent No.: US 10,946,624.
