Description:

We're seeking an experienced Marketing & Creative Content Coordinator who’s ready to elevate our brand and grow engagement across Girl Scouts of South Carolina—Mountains to Midlands (the Council). In this role, you’ll craft standout visual and written content for digital, print, and social platforms—showcasing the power of Girl Scouting and the incredible experiences occurring across our Council.

You’ll collaborate with teammates to bring communications to life—designing impactful graphics, leading strategic social media, producing engaging photography and video, supporting digital advertising, and maintaining a vibrant digital presence. Together, we’ll strengthen our brand, deepen our storytelling, and ensure audiences feel connected to our mission.

This position is based at our Columbia office with a hybrid schedule after completing a 90-Day Onboarding & Development Plan. Some evenings, weekends, and travel will be part of the adventure as you capture events, support council gatherings, and help bring our story to life in real time.

As our experienced Marketing & Creative Content Coordinator, you’ll shape the stories, visuals, and campaigns that capture attention and elevate our brand by…

  • Develop digital and print design materials including flyers, brochures, presentations, annual reports, signage, newsletters and program collateral.
  • Supports digital advertising efforts, including paid social campaigns, Google Ads, and performance tracking.
  • Optimizes digital ad performance through ongoing analysis, testing, and refinement. Provides recommendations on usage and any enhancements to increase visibility. Maintain updated web content including program listings, imagery, forms, and homepage features.
  • Assist in council wide campaigns including program promotion, membership recruitment, fund development, and public relations efforts.

Your technical strengths and solid experience will enable you to:

  • Deliver high-quality digital and print design using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Capture and produce compelling photography and videography, including lighting, shooting, editing, and managing digital assets.
  • Utilize social media management platforms (such as Meta Business Suite) to support content planning and execution.
  • Create short-form video content optimized for reels and other social platforms.
  • Apply foundational knowledge of digital advertising strategy, performance metrics, and optimization best practices.
  • Update and maintain website content (experience with Adobe Experience Manager preferred but not required).
  • Uphold and advance brand consistency through strong understanding of visual identity, voice, and messaging.

In a collaborative, inclusive environment, GSSC-MM offers you…

  • Professional growth through cross-functional collaboration, mentoring opportunities, and meaningful contributions that strengthen council membership and volunteer engagement.
  • This combines regular in-office hours with hybrid (upon completing the first 90-day onboarding program).
  • An engaging workplace culture rooted in purpose, connection, and creativity—where your ideas are valued, and your impact is felt.
  • A comprehensive benefits package includes flexible healthcare options with shared premiums, accruing vacation time, paid time off between Christmas and New Year’s, 401k and a variety of team-building activities that make work both rewarding and fun.
  • A comprehensive job description will be provided during the interview process or upon request.
Requirements:

What you bring to contribute immediately to the organization and team…
