ENTRY-LEVEL MACHINE OPERATOR - 1st SHIFT

Job Summary

We are currently seeking an entry-level machine operator. At the TIDI Products plant in Neenah, WI, machine operators are responsible for the safe operation and monitoring of a production machine, and for ensuring all finished product is properly packaged for shipment to the customer. This role is an important one, as the finished products will be used by healthcare professionals who count on us to provide them with the tools they need to safely and effectively do their jobs.


1st shift positions are available, with working hours of 6:00 am - 2:00 pm, Monday - Friday. The starting pay rate for machine operators is $21.69 per hour.

Essential responsibilities of the entry level machine operator are:

Safe operation of machines and other equipment
Under direct supervision during training, performance of quality checks of all products as outlined in departmental quality control on inspection procedures and ability to recognize product outside the specified tolerance
Active communication with material handlers regarding materials needed for current and upcoming orders.
Accurate completion of device history record (DHR) paperwork and label verification, with direction from trainer
Responsible for neat and accurate production reports and quality check sheets on a daily basis, with direction from trainer


During the training period, the entry-level machine operator will learn the following:

How to operate equipment safely, including Lock Out/Tag Out
Quality guidelines
How to load parent rolls on unwinds
How to web a machine
How to perform tension adjustments
How to shim and adjust cutting equipment
How to perform a machine set-up
How to perform a changeover
