Join us as a Lab Technician in our Volatiles department, whereyou'llput your love of science to work in the sample preparation department of our environmental testing laboratory.You'llreceive all the training you need to successfully take on your new role and grow an exciting laboratory sciences career at Pace.
WhatYou'llDo
Supportour Scientists by preparing water and soil samples prior to analysis
Follow a variety of established sample preparation procedures
Work with various solvents and chemicals for the preparation of samples
Maintain and updateappropriate documentationand databases
WhatYou'llBring
High school diploma or equivalentrequired
Associates or Bachelor's degree in a STEM field preferred
Ability to work in a lab or office setting, remain standing forlong periodswhile conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear personal protectiveequipment while handling samples (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves - all provided by Pace)
Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but notrequired
