A Technician I is an entry level position, that is responsible for assisting in the development and manufacturing of products tailored to a customer's specific requirements. They are responsible for performing the foundational tasks of preparing, formulating/packaging orders, performing routine maintenance, basic troubleshooting, operating laboratory equipment, and following procedures and regulations.

This position reports to the Supervisor and is part of the Formulated Research Products: TNFRP-Custom and Stock Products (CaSPr) located in Coralville, Iowa and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Perform the manufacturing tasks to transform raw materials into final products including decontamination process, product transfer, and maintenance connection software.
  • Operate instruments in the lab that are needed to complete the tasks by following all work instructions and adhere to all company policies and procedures. Strictly adhere to customer specific as well as general work instructions and SOPs.
  • Support daily management: assessment to drive problem solving with data and suggest countermeasures.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Some lab experience.
  • Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Not applicable for role

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Associate degree
  • 12 months of lab experience; Life Science work experience.
  • Extensive computer skills which include knowledge of the Internet, SAP, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
