Job description

Title: Customer Support Specialist, PureCircle


Location: Bridgewater, NJ. Reports To: Manager, Customer Support, Starch Texturizers and PureCircle. Workplace Type: Onsite


Ingredion is hiring a Customer Support Specialist, Pure Circle, to manage customer queries and complaints received via telephone and/or email. You will also be asked to process orders, modifications, and elevate complaints across several communication channels. To do well in this role, you need to be able to remain calm when customers are frustrated and have experience using CRM platforms.


What you will do:

Customer service is the primary function but may include minimal selling or promotion of products or services by assessing needs and/or suggesting alternative products or services. Handles situations which may require adaptation of response or extensive research according to customer response. May require knowledge of the company, products, and/or services, and problem-solving skills. Impact and complexity are determined by the level of customer service and product knowledge and skills (advanced, experienced, entry level), type of calls attended, and problem solving (non-routine, routine, basic).

  • 2-6 years of Customer Service / Support experience.

  • SAP, Salesforce and EDI experience preferred.

  • Microsoft Office experience and comfort – Word, Excel, Power BI.

Pay Range: $58,700.00-$78,300.00 Annual This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).


Incentive Compensation: As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
