Position: Salesforce Technical Solutions Architect

Location: Livermore, CA (Hybrid 2-3 days a week.)

Job Type: Full-time

The opportunity:

  • Hybrid: In office/remote
  • Design and own end-to-end Salesforce solutions, including Service Cloud (must have), Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Platform, aligned with business needs and technical strategy.
  • Lead the definition of the system landscape-detailing how Salesforce integrates with internal/external systems, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
  • Define robust integration strategies, including REST/SOAP APIs, middleware (e.g., MuleSoft), platform events, and change data capture, while adhering to Salesforce integration best practices.
  • Create and maintain secure, scalable data models, applying Salesforce data modeling principles-object relationships, custom metadata, external objects, and field-level security.

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What you need:

  • Proficiency in Apex Programming & Triggers
  • Deep understanding of Apex classes, triggers, asynchronous processing (Batch, Queueable, Future), and test-driven development.
  • Advanced Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) & Aura
  • Ability to design dynamic, high-performance UIs using modern Salesforce front-end frameworks.
  • Strong Knowledge of Salesforce Data Modeling
  • Expertise in creating and optimizing custom objects, relationships, schema design, indexing, and large data volume (LDV) strategies.
  • Integration Architecture & Patterns
  • Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, Named Credentials, and middleware platforms like MuleSoft or Boomi.
  • Salesforce Security & Access Control
  • In-depth knowledge of security architecture, including OAuth flows, SSO, role hierarchy, sharing rules, FLS, and Shield Platform Encryption.
  • Platform Tools & DevOps
  • Multi-Cloud Experience

Must Have:

  • Application Architect (achieved by earning: Sharing & Visibility + Data Architecture + Platform App Builder + Platform Developer I).
  • System Architect (achieved by earning: Integration + Identity + Development Lifecycle + Deployment Designer).
