Ottimate is an AI-powered AP [Accounts Payable] automation platform that empowers finance teams to reduce costs, prevent overpayments, detect fraud, and enforce policy compliance across the entire invoice-to-payment lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
The Sales Development Representative role is perfect for ambitious, high-energy professionals eager to make a big impact. You'll drive Ottimate's sales by sourcing, contacting, educating, and qualifying prospects via phone, email, and social channels. 

Our SDR position rewards initiative and hard work. As such, our top SDRs are goal-driven, humble, and adaptable team players who embrace feedback, excel in fast-paced environments, and possess a relentless drive to succeed. They're self-starters unafraid of risks, recognizing that failure and rejection drive success, and they're always eager to expand their knowledge. This role is based out of our Tampa, FL office and will be in-person 5 days a week.

  • Prospecting and Generation of Sales Opportunities: As a SDR, your primary duty is to initiate sales cycles and expand the sales pipeline by identifying and developing sales-ready opportunities. This involves actively engaging in self-prospecting and generating leads through research and outreach with the ultimate goal of scheduling qualified meetings with prospects. 
  • High-Volume Outbound Cold Calling: You will spend a substantial portion of your day making outbound cold calls to potential prospects, effectively communicating Ottimate's value proposition.
  • Prospect Engagement: Engage with a diverse range of prospects, from Directors to C-Suite Executives, within the United States, fostering relationships through phone, email, and social media.
  • Prospect Research: Conduct thorough research to navigate and identify key contacts and stakeholders within prospect organizations.
  • Effective Communication: Clearly articulate Ottimate's unique value proposition and differentiators through cold calls, personalized emails, and LinkedIn prospecting.
  • Account Nurturing: Nurture accounts throughout the prospect lifecycle, ensuring they are ready to engage further.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Account Executives to strategically manage outreach to target accounts.
  • Data Management: Utilize Salesforce to maintain accurate contact information and ensure data integrity.
  • Product Knowledge: Acquire in-depth knowledge of prospective customers' pain points and how Ottimate's product addresses them.
  • Continuous Improvement: Work collaboratively with the broader sales team to continually improve individually and as a team.
  • Market Awareness: Stay current on Ottimate's platform, competitive landscape, and market trends.

Requirements

  • Located in or around the Tampa Bay area with the ability to work in-person 5 days per week.
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • Up to 2 years professional experience (ideally in a customer-facing or quota-carrying role)
  • Inherently curious with strong desire to learn and advance in a sales career; embraces coaching, feedback, and learning opportunities.
  • Relentless drive and accountability to achieve and exceed goals and expectations
  • Excellent sales instinct with an ability to identify opportunities and resolve roadblocks
