The Process Automation and Technology Engineer is responsible for driving the automation of key production processes in lamination and conversion operations. This role focuses on integrating advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and process monitoring systems, to enhance productivity, improve quality, and streamline material handling. A key responsibility is bridging the gap between automation systems and employees, ensuring seamless interaction and upskilling teams to leverage automation effectively.


Key Responsibilities

1. Product Inspection Automation

  • Develop and implement automated systems for product inspection in the lamination and conversion processes.
  • Collaborate with quality teams to ensure automated inspections meet required standards and specifications.
  • Optimize inspection systems to detect defects and deviations in real-time, reducing waste and improving quality consistency.

2. Automatic Packaging Systems

  • Design, implement, and optimize automatic packaging solutions to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Work with packaging engineers and production teams to ensure systems align with operational and customer requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain packaging systems to minimize downtime and maximize output.
