CentiMark Corporation, the nation’s leader in the commercial/industrial roofing industry, has an exceptional opportunity for an entry-level Roofing Technical Representative to support Sales Representatives in Rocky Hill, CT .

 This position pays $60k, plus premier benefits and annual bonus opportunity.

Job Summary:
  • Perform project take-offs from Architect/Construction Spec Drawings
  • Prepare project submittals for specified contract projects
  • Will work closely with the sales force to provide them with accurate information for the creation of proposals for customers
  • Travel to customers’ locations and inspect roofs
  • Communicate with customers and check roofs for problem areas
  • Measure roofs and estimate the amount of roofing material and labor needed for roofing projects
  • Able to identify problem areas of roof systems and document findings accurately
  • Prepare project submittals for specified contract projects
  • Will need to travel out of town occasionally
  • Market CentiMark and our services while out in the field performing inspections
Candidate Requirements: 
  • General Construction, Roofing and/or Sales Experience (2 years) preferred
  • Understanding new construction and specification drives bidding processes
  • Ability to read/interpret architectural drawings and perform project take offs
  • Able to compile and prepare project submittals
  • Strong communication skills
  • Computer skills (proficient in MS Word, Excel and Bid Estimating Software)
  • A valid driver’s license in good standing
  • Able to climb up and down ladders to minimum heights of 25 feet
  • Able to lift at least 50 lbs
  • Experience with: THERMOPLASTIC, BUR, METAL, SHINGLES, EPDM, SPF FOAM and COATINGS preferred
