Description
Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is hiring an Entry Level Roadway Design Engineer for our Baton Rouge, LA office to work on a variety of Transportation projects throughout Louisiana.

Your Primary Responsibilities will include
  • Performs engineering analysis and design (2D and 3D) for roadways, intersections and related infrastructure, including new construction and rehabilitation.
  • Prepares construction plans, specifications, and contract documents for contracting and bidding of construction projects.
  • Performs analysis and design of stormwater management facilities for roadway drainage.
  • Follow safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all projects.
  • Maintains and documents written and verbal communications with clients throughout the development and completion of a project.
  • Prepares engineering studies and reports.
  • Prepares project design using sound engineering principles, engineering software and tools.

What you'll need
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
  • Passing of the Fundamentals test is preferred
  • Engineering analysis in 2D and 3D.ย 
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Projects
