Position Overview - LPN:
A professional care provider who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients, providing care through the continued utilization of the nursing process in collaboration with other health team members. The LPN will be responsible for meeting the standards required by JCAHO, GMC and other regulating agencies for managing all assigned personnel, supplies and equipment on the unit. The LPN will process information on the Center's Health Information System as required in performing job responsibilities.

Qualifications - LPN:
Graduate from an accredited school of Licensed Practical Nurses. Knowledge of current trends and techniques in nursing appropriate to practice setting. Participates in educational conferences, completes educational in-services and updates and maintains professional knowledge and skills related to areas of practice. Currently licensed in the State of North Carolina as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Up to date on CPR and CEU's for practice profession.

A professional care provider who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients, providing care through the continued utilization of the nursing process in collaboration with other health team members. The RN will be responsible for meeting the standards required by AACN, JCAHO, GHS, and other regulating agencies for managing all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment in the unit. The RN will process information in the Center's computer and information system as required in performing job responsibilities.
