The Registered Nurse is responsible for planning and delivering professional nursing care to patients. The Registered Nurse collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to advance the patient along the continuum of care. The Registered Nurse will ensure effective communication with patient, family, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care.
Job Description:
  • Provides patient care services utilizing the nursing process
    • Performs care planning activities utilizing assessment data or input from all team members encompassing individual patient needs throughout the continuum of care
    • Assists physicians during examinations and procedures
    • Provides treatments or administers medications as directed within the scope of practice of the registered nurse
    • Alters plan of care based on ongoing assessments
    • Documents patient condition, vital statistics, interventions, medications, diagnosis, patient responses, prescribed treatments, and treatment changes
    • Ensures efficient, quality patient outcomes through the implementation of the plan of care and effective use of all available resources
  • Communicates health care needs with patient, family, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care
    • Delegates and communicates patient care needs to appropriate team members based on skill, knowledge, and patient acuity

Required Qualifications:
