We're searching for experienced, adaptable Registered Nurses to join our brandnew Denver Resource Pool, supporting four of our primary Denverarea hospitals: Good Samaritan, St. Joseph, Lutheran, and Platte Valley. This is an excellent opportunity for RNs who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy providing highquality care across multiple clinical settings.

About the Denver Resource Pool RN Role

As a Denver Resource Pool RN, you'll deliver compassionate, patientcentered care while floating among our four core facilities to support systemwide staffing needs. This role offers the stability of fulltime employment with the added benefit of a 10% float differential, recognizing your flexibility and expertise.

You'll work alongside exceptional care teams across varying patient populations, building diverse clinical experience while maintaining consistent support from leadership and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide highquality, evidencebased care to patients across multiple units and hospital settings
  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including providers, specialists, and support staff
  • Accurately document patient data, interventions, and responses
  • Adapt quickly to new environments, workflows, and patient needs
  • Maintain professional, ethical, and regulatory standards across all facilities
  • Deliver patient and family education to support safe and informed care transitions
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Current RN license in the state of practice. Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience
  • Willingness to float to all four Denver facilities:
    • Good Samaritan Hospital
    • St. Joseph Hospital
    • Lutheran Medical Center
    • Platte Valley Hospital
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers
  • RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of hire date.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
  • Strong communication, adaptability, and criticalthinking skills.
  • Experience in multiple specialty areas or highacuity settings.

* Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required as of the job description's last update on 4/27/2025. Employees hired or promoted prior to this date will be held to the minimum requirements that were in place at the time of their promotion or hire.

Physical Requirements

  • Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
  • Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
  • Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.
  • Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.
  • Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc.)
  • May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time.
  • For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.
