Job Description:

Certified Nursing Assistant - CNAThe Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides high-quality, compassionate, and efficient patient care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff. In alignment with Oregon's updated 2025 CNA certification standards, the CNA performs a comprehensive range of clinical, clerical, and support functions that promote patient health, safety, and dignity. All CNA tasks are carried out under the direction of a Registered Nurse, who provides guidance and oversight to ensure safe and appropriate care delivery. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, collecting objective data, supporting therapeutic interventions, maintaining accurate documentation, coordinating unit activities, and ensuring a safe, clean, and organized environment.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively
  • Able to work collaboratively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Strong understanding of cultural sensitivity and developmental stages of care
  • Proficiency in basic computer use and electronic documentation
