ESS Clinical is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in partnership with Aurora Public Schools for the 2026–2027 school year

PAY STARTING AT $45/hr W2 and $51/hr 1099

Position Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to students in accordance with state laws, district policies, and nursing standards.
  • Assess, evaluate, and manage acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic health conditions.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and Emergency Care Plans (ECPs).
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Perform health screenings, vision and hearing screenings, and maintain accurate health records.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid and emergency interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with administrators, teachers, special education teams, families, and healthcare providers to support student success.
  • Promote health education and wellness initiatives throughout the school community.
  • Ensure compliance with state immunization requirements and public health regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, FERPA, and district policies.
Qualifications
  • Active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing.
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Current CPR/BLS Certification.
  • Previous pediatric, public health, school nursing, emergency, or community health experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Successful completion of all required district background checks, fingerprinting, and onboarding requirements.
