Summary of Responsibilities


The Admissions Counselor PT serves as a key representative of Highlands College and an extension of the Admissions Team's strategic recruitment efforts. This role requires a high-capacity student leader who embodies Highlands College's mission, culture, and spiritual ethos and can confidently represent the college in both external and internal settings.

This teammate will contribute meaningfully to admissions strategy, communication workflows, and engagement initiatives. The position is designed for a student who demonstrates initiative, ownership, spiritual maturity, and the ability to positively influence others.


Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate Highlands College's mission, academic programs, formation model, and student experience with clarity and conviction.
  • Build trust with prospective students, parents, pastors, and ministry leaders.
  • Identify high-potential prospects and relay insights to the Admissions Team.
  • Model excellence in professionalism, appearance, and conduct during travel.
  • Assist in leading portions of recruitment presentations when appropriate.


Other Duties:

  • Collaborate with Admissions leadership to strengthen inquiry-to-application and acceptance-to-enrollment engagement.
  • Support data-informed follow-up efforts via calls, texts, and email.
  • Contribute to initiatives that improve yield and reduce melt.
  • Assist in planning and execution of Discovery Days, Accepted Student Days, and campus visit experiences.
  • Provide feedback from the field to help refine messaging and recruitment strategy.
  • Maintain accurate CRM updates and assist with recruitment reporting.
