Associate Producer
Position Overview
The Associate Producer Program is designed for high-potential professionals ready to launch a successful career in insurance sales and business development. Through structured training, licensing support, mentorship, and hands-on prospecting experience, Associate Producers develop the skills, habits, and industry expertise necessary to progress into a validated Producer role.

This is an entry-level sales position ideal for motivated individuals who are competitive, coachable, resilient, and eager to build relationships. Associate Producers work alongside experienced Producers and mentors to identify new business opportunities, develop sales pipelines, and gain exposure to client-facing activities while building a foundation for long-term success within the organization.  
Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and cultivate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and in-person meetings.
  • Develop and maintain a consistent prospecting strategy to build a qualified sales pipeline.
  • Complete all required licensing, onboarding, producer school, and sales training programs.
  • Leverage HubSpot and other sales tools to document activities, manage opportunities, and track pipeline progress.
  • Shadow experienced Producers during prospect, client, and carrier meetings to gain practical industry knowledge.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients while delivering a professional and consultative sales approach.
  • Learn commercial insurance, risk management, employee benefits, and related solutions offered through World's platform.
  • Collaborate with mentors and internal specialists to develop client-focused solutions.
  • Achieve established activity, pipeline, and production goals throughout the program.
  • Progress toward independent management of client relationships and sales opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent business development, sales, or professional experience.
  • Strong desire to build a career in sales, insurance, and risk management.
  • Competitive, disciplined, and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable with outbound prospecting, cold calling, networking, and handling rejection.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and establish credibility with prospective clients.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Coachable and receptive to feedback and ongoing development.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems; HubSpot experience is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

At World Insurance, we believe high performance should be rewarded. As an Associate Producer, you'll receive a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary, commission opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits program. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, as well as a 401(k) plan with immediate vesting.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000, determined by factors including geographic location, relevant experience, demonstrated sales success. As you build your book of business, expand client relationships, and drive revenue growth, your earning potential can increase significantly, with the opportunity to exceed the stated salary range.
