Job description

This position will have the option to work a hybrid schedule, with two days from home after three months of employment, with the remainder working in our office out of Schaumburg, IL.
We are seeking a Product Research Associate to support our R&D operations by contributing to human factors activities and risk management via supporting documentation and user research efforts. This position is responsible for assisting with the collection, organization, and analysis of internal and external data to support the preparation and maintenance of risk management documentation and user research activities.
Salary range: $55K to $64K, commensurate with experience

RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities for this Product Research Associate will include, but are not limited to:
  • Clinical Research Network
    • Assist in recruitment and retention of clinical researchers; including acting as a liaison that conveys information and answers clinicians' questions, establishing positive working relationships with clinicians.
    • Assist in the reimbursement of participating clinicians.
  • Human Factors
    • Support human factors research activities throughout the product life cycle, including assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of studies.
    • Aid in collection, organization, and analysis of study data to support the identification of user needs and customer insights that inform product development.
    • Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
  • Risk Management
    • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of risk management files.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in physical or life sciences, engineering, social sciences, medical sciences, or related discipline.
  • Entry-level; no prior work experience required.
  • Proficient English writing and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • General understanding of research methodology and practices.
  • Competent general computer skills in Windows, MS Office, email, and internet.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and have dexterity functions to assemble prototype packages.
  • Ability to work in office environment including working at a computer for extended periods and using office equipment.
