How you'll make an impact

Opportunity for a Financial Analyst -  FP&A Team for our dynamic and supportive Gallagher Bassett FP&A Team! 

This role is ideal for entry-level to intermediate candidates who are eager to make a significant impact through strategic insights and operational excellence. 

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in reporting and operations related to claim volume, headcount, and associated expenses. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in financial modeling, detailed analyses, and process improvements while contributing to the success of a global leader in insurance and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile and analyze financial information to support organizational decision-making.
  • Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations.
  • Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, ensuring financial data is recorded accurately.
  • Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present findings to senior management.
  • Perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
  • Utilize a variety of financial concepts, practices, and procedures to achieve goals.
  • Lead and direct tasks, with potential to manage or coordinate the work of junior staff.
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation of workflows.

About You
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Strong proficiency in PC and Microsoft applications.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivots, VLOOKUPs, and macros.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Excel expertise, including financial modeling and complex data analysis.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and/or Power BI.
  • Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Strong background in detailed financial analyses to support decision-making.
  • Relevant experience in FP&A roles, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
