Job description
This position reports to:
Regional Service Manager
In this role you will be responsible for Demand Field Service in Process Automation Energy Industries Service.
DCS Associate Field Service Technicians perform service in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. You will be in close cooperation with customers and other ABB teams, supporting the technical point while delivering quality service.
The work model for the role is Hybrid {#LI-Hybird}
This role is contributing to the Process Automation, Energy Industries Division.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Performing entry level field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performs analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products.
- Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities.
- Executing work on a first-time right approach with customers, and ensuring the job is done on time and as per quality standards.
- Troubleshooting simple equipment failures and making recommendations to avoid such issues in the future.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma and comparable military technical training.
- A minimum of 1 years of relevant experience is preferred. A special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments will be considered.
- Must be willing to maintain overnight travel of 80%.
