Position Summary

The Entry-Level Electrical Project Engineer supports the electrical construction team by assisting with planning, coordination, and execution of new-build & T.I. electrical projects. Working under the direction of senior engineers and project managers, this role helps review plans, manage documentation, support field activities, and ensure electrical installations meet design intent, code requirements, and project schedules.


Key Responsibilities

• Assist with review of electrical drawings, submittals, shop drawings, and specifications.

• Support scheduling, procurement tracking, and material coordination.

• Prepare RFIs, change orders, and progress reports.

• Conduct site walks to verify installation progress and safety compliance.

• Assist field supervisors and electricians with design clarifications.

• Document as-built conditions and maintain updated drawings.

• Support inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.

• Perform basic electrical calculations and layout planning.

• Coordinate with other trades to avoid conflicts.

• Maintain project logs, QC checklists, and close-out documents.

• Coordinate overflow service calls through Service Titan


Working Conditions

• Field/office-based role with regular time on active construction sites.

• Frequent interaction with electricians, GC staff, and inspectors.

• Occasional overtime for project deadlines.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in electrical construction/PE

• Basic understanding of electrical systems and NEC.

• Familiarity with Bluebeam, Procore, Excel, etc.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work on active construction sites.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with electrical contractors and new construction/T.I. projects.

• Knowledge of NEC installation requirements.

• Experience with BIM/Revit coordination models.

• Service Titan Experience.
