Position Title: 1st & 2nd Shift Forklift Driver
Location: Romulus, MI
Schedule: Monday – Friday (Occasional Weekend),1st shift (6:30am-3:00) 2nd shift (3:00pm - completion)
Hourly Wage: 1st shift- 17.00- 2nd shift- 18.00
Position Summary:
Hanline Frozen Foods is seeking first and second shift forklift driver for shipping and receiving purposes and provide support to our production floor.
Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to move materials within the warehouse.
  • Load and unload shipments, ensuring accuracy in order picking and shipping.
  • Adhere to OSHA safety standards while handling materials and operating machinery.
  • Maintain inventory records using warehouse management systems and RF scanners.
  • Assist in training new staff and support warehouse supervisors in daily operations.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in materials handling and warehouse operations
  • Proficient in operating forklifts and heavy equipment
  • Familiarity with distribution center processes and order picking
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
  • Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate cherry pickers and clamp trucks
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role is a plus
