DAY TO DAY:
The Material Handler/Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and distributing materials throughout the warehouse while maintaining accurate inventory records. This role will utilize RF scanners and mobile devices to track inventory movements, operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment, and safely load, unload, and transport materials. The individual will regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs, retrieve items from shelving and ladders, and ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with company safety procedures. Success in this role requires a strong attention to detail, willingness to learn new processes and equipment, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
MUST HAVES:
- Ability to lift and move 20–50 lbs consistently throughout the shift.
- Comfortable performing repetitive physical work in a warehouse environment.
- Basic technology skills, including use of a cell phone/mobile device.
- Ability to learn and use RF scanners (training provided).
- Experience in a fast-paced work environment (warehouse, logistics, retail, manufacturing, UPS, FedEx, Amazon, etc.).
- Comfortable using ladders and pallet jacks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly.
- Reliable attendance with the ability to work a consistent 40-hour schedule.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper lifting techniques.
PLUSSES:
- Previous warehouse, material handling, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience.
- Experience working with RF scanners.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (IRM or similar inventory software).
- Experience operating additional warehouse equipment.
