SUMMARY:
As a High Performance Analog Product Quality Engineer, you will represent the High Performance Analog Business Unit for all aspects related to product quality and reliability for your assigned products. Your role will be to support new product development, product qualifications, and ongoing product quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support new product development, product qualification, and ongoing product quality for production products.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality and reliability risks for the new product's planned environment and planned life, and qualify new products and technologies/materials
  • Define qualification plans to evaluate or qualify new products, changes of products, new technologies, and changes of technologies with tests consistent with JESD47 and MIL-STD-883. But it may also need to be designed based on product and customer requirements
  • Ensure the timely release of the high-quality products to meet customer requirements, to continuously improve Key Performance Indices (KPI) associated with product quality
  • Support the execution of the qualification plans, including data analysis, inspection, test, and failure analysis activities
  • Generate qualification reports documenting qualification results and any identified resolution actions
  • Work closely with cross-functioning teams to understand quality and reliability failures/issues and develop mitigation plans
  • Drive improvement in reliability and quality of products and technologies

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum BS degree in Electrical Engineering (or higher), such as BSEE or MSEE
  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience in the RF field is required
  • Strong understanding of Integrated Circuit development and manufacturing processes, and of RF systems and products
  • A firm knowledge of high-frequency RF product fabrication, testing, and failure modes is required
  • Knowledge of semiconductor device packaging is required
  • Understanding and experience with product qualification efforts based upon JEDEC, JESD47, and MIL-STD-883
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools and methods
  • Training and experience in LEAN and Six Sigma; Green or Black Belt certification is highly desired
  • Knowledge of problem-solving techniques and data analysis methodologies like Spotfire, JMP, etc.
