Job description

Leidos Dynetics is seeking a Software Engineer to join a highly talented team within the RF Systems Portfolio in Huntsville, AL. This portfolio supports radar design, hardware builds, algorithm development, software development, hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) testing, and weapons system analysis across a diverse range of research, development, and operational programs.
Primary Responsibilities:
In this role, assignments may focus on one or more of the following areas:
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software using Agile methodologies.
  • Develop tactical software for Leidos Dynetics radar systems.
  • Create modeling, simulation, and analysis toolsets supporting:
    • Algorithm development
    • Requirements development
    • System testing
    • Prototype radar system development
  • Test, analyze, and debug complex software systems across multiple architectures and operating systems.
  • Collaborate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment supporting advanced RF and radar technologies.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field from an ABET-accredited institution with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Object-oriented design
    • Data structures
    • Network communications
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced technical environment.
  • US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with:
    • C++
    • Python
    • Linux
    • Git
    • MATLAB
  • Familiarity with radar systems is a plus.
