Job description

Do you love to build things? Do you have a background in fixture installation, carpentry, or mechanical repairs? Are you able to work independently, with minimal supervision? Do you love to travel? Are you good with technology like phones and computers? If so, we may have a position for you!
Falcon Retail Solutions, LLC is currently hiring for our Special Project Fixture Installation team. We are looking for self-sufficient individuals with amazing work ethic, high attention to detail, and positive attitudes. We partner with nationwide commercial retailers, providing fixture, dรฉcor, and graphic installations as well as minor renovations.
Traveling Fixture Installers travel from one store to another to complete a project(s) throughout the United States on a predetermined route. Each project is different. The full details about the pay, locations, and requirements will be provided up front as they vary per project. Projects can vary anywhere between 1-30 days, however, project length may vary based on the nature of work. This is a part-time opportunity with unlimited earning potential. Payment is based on project completion. So, the harder you work and the more projects you complete, the more money you make!
Typical work includes building, installing and moving new racks, shelves, gondolas, displays and specialty fixtures. Other duties may include merchandising, stocking shelves, rearranging products, installing firmware updates, etc. Some carpentry and renovation work may be needed.
Traveling Fixture Installers must provide their own tools. Required tools include assorted Screwdriver sets (flat, Phillips, Torx), Socket Set, Multi-tool, Allen Wrench/Hex Set, Adjustable and Combination Wrenches, Pliers, Wire Cutters, Tin Snips, Hammer/Deadblow Hammer/Mallet, Square, Level, Clamps, File, Cordless Drill, Impact Drill, Assorted Drill Bits and Screws, Utility Knife, Pry Bar, Grinder, Painters Tape, Chalk Line and Zip Ties.

Requirements:
  • Ability to pass work history verification and drug screening checks.
  • Experience reading planograms and blueprints.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current insurance coverage on vehicle.
  • Personal smart phone or tablet with cellular connection and Wi-Fi capabilities and valid email address.
  • Ability to follow directions, and view and read electronic documents such as spreadsheets, word documents and PDF's.
  • Effective ability to work accurately with web-based applications to check work assignments, receive work documentation and information, accurately and timely record work start and completion times, record work mileage, record work expenses, record work time and attendance, and complete survey/end of project documentation.
  • Ability to work independently, with a remote supervisor and the ability to keep in communication with them.
  • Knowledge/ability to use basic tools necessary for the job (hammer, screwdriver, tape measure, etc).
  • Ability to travel out of state travel for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time with repetitive kneeling, bending, and squatting, reaching overhead, pulling and grasping
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Effectively and accurately prepare, process, submit, and manage documentation related to assigned reset work.
  • Maintain job safety standards.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational, decision-making skills with the ability to adapt quickly in any given situation.

Preferred:
Forklift, Boom, or Aerial/Scissor Lift certification preferred.
Background in retail fixture installation, carpentry, wall coverings, electrical work, or mechanical repairs is preferred.
