Position Overview

The Account Analyst will support the sales team in managing key relationships with national retail accounts. This entry-level role is ideal for someone eager to begin a career in produce sales and account management. The Account Analyst will work closely with buyers, category managers, and replenishment teams at top retailers, providing data-driven insights, ensuring order accuracy, and helping drive Bonipak’s sales and service goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary support contact for assigned retail accounts, assisting in daily account management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, category managers, and replenishment teams.
  • Monitor inventory, shipments, and order fulfillment to ensure timely, quality deliveries.
  • Analyze sales, pricing, and promotional data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare and present weekly sales reports, forecasts, and account performance updates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, logistics, operations, marketing) to align supply with customer demand.
  • Assist in resolving service issues, including shortages, quality claims, and delivery discrepancies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, Supply Chain, or related field preferred but not required.
  • Experience in sales support, account management, or data analysis preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present sales and market data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting directly with retail customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data reporting tools.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
