The Field Service Representative (FSR) is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients while installing and maintaining diagnostic instruments in hospital laboratory environments.

This position reports to the Quebec District Service Manager and is part of the Service department located in Chicoutimi/Jonquiere area and will be entirely remote.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Serving assigned customers, under minimal supervision, you will be required to complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, maintenance and service repair needs on designated instrumentation.
• Complete on time and accurately: preventative maintenance, field modifications, instrument repairs and work order/service documentation.
• Occasionally available to travel across Canada , to support the various sites where our instrumentation is used.

Essential job requirements include:

• Technical degree in biomedical, laboratory, electronics or related field with a minimum of 1 years of experience troubleshooting, installing, performing maintenance on laboratory equipment at customer sites OR 1 years of mechanical or electrical experience
• Bilingualism in French and English, spoken and written

Travel, motor vehicle history, and physical and environmental requirements:

• Ability to travel to the United States of America for training.
• Ability to regularly lift, move, slide, raise and/or place up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk (prolonged), and sit; squat and kneel, ascend and descend stairs; reach with hands and arms.

It would be a plus if you also have previous experience in:

• Field Service experience
• Technical service for instruments in the following categories: Hematology, and chemistry.

Le representant du service sur le terrain (FSR) est responsable de fournir un service client exceptionnel aux clients tout en installant et en maintenant des instruments de diagnostic dans les environnements de laboratoire hospitaliers.

Ce poste releve du directeur de service du district du Quebec et fait partie du departement de service situe a Chicoutimi/Jonquiere ou la region et sera entierement a distance.

Dans ce role, vous aurez l'opportunite de :

• Servir des clients assignes, sous une supervision minimale, vous devrez completer les besoins de depannage, d'installation, de validation, de maintenance et de reparation de services sur l'instrumentation designee.
• Completer a temps et precisement: maintenance preventive, modifications sur le terrain, reparations d'instruments et documentation des ordres de travail / service.
• Disponible a l'occasion pour voyager a travers le Canada, pour soutenir les differents sites ou notre instrumentation est utilisee.

Les exigences essentielles du poste comprennent :

• Diplome technique en biomedical, laboratoire, en electronique ou dans un domaine connexe avec un minimum de 1 an d'experience en depannage, en installation et en entretien d'equipements de laboratoire sur les sites de client OU 1 an d'experience avec des instruments mecanique ou electronique.
• Bilinguisme en francais et en anglais, parle et ecrit.

Exigences relatives aux deplacements, aux antecedents de vehicules a moteur et aux conditions physiques et environnementales :

• Capacite de voyager aux Etats-Unis pour la formation.
• Capacite a soulever, deplacer, faire glisser, lever et/ou placer regulierement jusqu'a 50 lb. Capacite a se tenir debout, marcher (de maniere prolongee) et s'asseoir ; s'accroupir et s'agenouiller, monter et descendre des escaliers ; tendre les mains et les bras.

Ce serait un plus si vous possediez egalement une experience prealable dans :

• Experience en service sur le terrain
• Le service technique des instruments de categorie suivantes : Hematologie, Biochimie.

La fourchette salariale annuelle pour ce poste est de 75 000 $ a 85 000 $ CAD. C'est la fourchette que nous croyons de bonne foi etre la fourchette de compensation possible pour ce poste au moment de cette publication. Cette fourchette peut etre modifiee a l'avenir.
