Job description

Work-Fit is hiring Licensed Athletic Trainers to join our Virtual Provider Team!

As part of our nationwide network, you’ll deliver on-demand virtual services including incident triage, job coaching, and health and wellness education.

We are looking for those with availability between the hours of 7:30AM and 8PM CST. Must be available for a 4-hour minimum shift.
A Work-Fit Virtual Injury Prevention Specialist (Work-Fit VIPS) is directly responsible for exceeding customer expectations by making health personal through the delivery of virtual Work-Fit services to the client.

Important Details:

  • This is a Remote / On-Call role with coverage provided 24/5 (Sunday 10 PM CST – Friday 10 PM CST)

  • Compensation: $5/hour on-call rate + $40 per completed evaluation (paid after documentation is submitted)

  • Must be immediately available when triage calls come in (must be in a private and uninterrupted environment)

What We’re Looking For:

  • Availability at least 2 days per week

  • Minimum 4-hour shifts

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Policy and Procedures
a. Maintains a professional work environment in a manner consistent with the Code of Conduct of the Work-Fit Employee.
b. Understands and abides by Work-Fit, and Client Policy and Procedures.
c. Understands and works within the structure of the Work-Fit and Client agreed upon Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Manual which defines the delivery of service at the specified client site.
2. Record Management
a. Documents all Work-Fit service interactions in the Healthy Roster recordkeeping database in accordance with all Work-Fit record management policies and quality practices.
3. Delivery of Work-Fit Services
a. Makes health personal through the delivery of the agreed upon Scope of Services to the customer in accordance with the SOP.
4. Professional Development
a. Remains current with all policies, credentialing and laws governing professional practice.
5. Facility/Office Management
a. Ensures that the security of sensitive records (hard copy and computerized) is maintained at all times.
b. Maintains a work area that is neat, clean and organized in compliance with Work-Fit Remote Work Policy.
c. Ability to manage technology and troubleshoot issues in an efficient manner.
d. Employees must provide and utilize a personal computer or tablet and smartphone to deliver service.
Requirements:
  • Athletic Trainer must be licensed in state of residency.
  • Effective written (including proper grammar and spelling) and oral communication skills with individuals.
  • Ability to manage time to ensure all duties and responsibilities are met on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable in the delivery of service through a virtual platform including visual presentation of oneself during video interactions and visualizing various work environments such as manufacturing, warehousing, office, and outdoors.
  • Self-Starter with the ability to work autonomously in a remote office environment.
