Job Summary: 
The Marketing Specialist will assist in the implementation of marketing strategies by providing special project and administrative support related to internal and external marketing. This role will coordinate marketing campaigns and contribute to the development of promotional materials. In addition, the Marketing Specialist will manage the Firm’s website, develop, create, and share content on social media (including preparing analytics reports), coordinate events (including attorney recruiting, internal, and client events), assist with directory and survey submissions, process and distribute client newsletters, conduct research requests, manage databases, as well as other public relations and communication duties.

Reports To:
This position reports to the Director of Marketing and Business Development and supports activities in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, and Houston.

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Update and maintain content on the company website and monthly newsletter
  • Aid in the development and creation of digital content for various channels to enhance brand presence
  • Assist in the creation and distribution of press releases and newsletters
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics
  • Support the planning and execution of trade shows/industry events, client seminars, and social events
  • Coordinate the production of marketing materials, including graphic design and copywriting
  • Create and update marketing materials, such as brochures, presentations, and internal communications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve marketing goals
  • Aid in the execution of marketing plans and strategies related to revenue generation, brand awareness, and publicity

Education and Experience: 
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field, and a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in marketing or business development, preferably in a professional services or legal firm

Required Skills:

  • Experience managing multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities

  • Ability to research and respond to inquiries and resolve them promptly

Physical Demands & Working Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to read from hard-copy paper and computer screen, sit, talk, hear, use wrist, hands, and fingers repetitively to type, write, operate a computer and other office equipment/machinery, handle and grasp paper and other office objects. Additionally, the person in this position will remain in a stationary sitting position 90% of the time working on a computer; occasionally moving about our multi-floor office to visit and meet with others and/or attend meetings, access file cabinets, use office machinery, etc., which will require bending and lifting of items less than 25 lbs. Interior workstation with low to moderate sound levels.
