Job description

About this role

We're hiring entry-level Financial Sales Consultants for our remote team. You'll help families find the right financial protection for their needs — by phone and Zoom, from wherever you call home. No finance or insurance background needed. We'll train you and get you licensed.

Why recent grads skip the "traditional job" path

Typical entry-level job This role — year one potential $42K–$55K fixed salary $50K–$100K+, no ceiling 2–3% annual raise Your effort sets your pay Income capped from day one Uncapped from day one

What you'll be doing

  • Contacting warm inbound leads — people who've already asked for help protecting their families
  • Running phone and Zoom consultations to understand each client's needs and budget
  • Presenting coverage options from a network of 60+ carriers
  • Following up consistently and managing your own daily activity
  • Attending weekly virtual training with a dedicated mentor
  • Working toward team leadership and override income over time

What you can earn

  • $800–$1,200 commission per closed sale
  • Part-time (~20 hrs/week): typically $50,000–$80,000 in year one with consistent activity
  • Full-time: typically $80,000–$120,000 once established; top performers earn well beyond that
  • Paid weekly
  • Bonuses and incentives available
  • Long-term passive income through team building and overrides

Your path forward

  • Year 1: Get licensed, complete onboarding, land your first sales, build the habit
  • Year 2: Build pipeline consistency, grow activity, reach $80,000–$100,000
  • Year 3: Start building your own team, earn override income on their production
  • Year 5+: Lead a team, generate passive income, work your own schedule

Most of our managers and team leaders started in this exact seat with zero prior experience.

What we provide

  • Full licensing support — we walk you through getting your Life and Health Insurance License (most pass in 2–4 weeks)
  • A dedicated mentor for your first 90 days with weekly one-on-ones
  • Warm inbound leads plus outbound follow-up opportunities (lead structure covered in the interview)
  • Access to 60+ insurance carriers — independent model, never tied to one company
  • A step-by-step training system built specifically for new agents
  • Weekly pay on every closed sale

Backgrounds that do well here

  • Business, marketing, communications, or finance
  • Psychology, sociology, or criminal justice
  • Any customer-facing role — retail, hospitality, food service, tutoring
  • Student athletes or anyone with a competitive, team-driven mindset
  • No degree at all — drive and coachability matter more than credentials

Requirements

  • Raleigh/Triangle area preferred — fully remote, open to all U.S. locations
  • Able to pass a background check
  • Life and Health Insurance License required before start date (or real willingness to get one — full support provided)

  • Licensing and onboarding support
  • Mentorship from day one
  • Leadership path with passive income potential
