Job description

We are Lockheed Martin
This position will work in Quality Control in Marietta, GA, to support all aspects of the C-130J build cycle to include assembly, structural repairs on sub or major assemblies, and functional checks.
The selected candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision in an environment of multiple responsibilities and manage priorities. Specific responsibilities include oversight of product and process verification, procedural compliance, FOD prevention and to drive discipline and accountability within the build and verification processes as it relates to product quality; execute the development, training, and coaching of employees, setting individual and team goals, completing performance evaluations for employees, and providing constructive and appreciative feedback to the team. The selected candidate must interface with various functional and program areas within LM Aero to assure compliance and continuous improvement, including interfacing closely with Quality Engineers, MRB Engineering, Production Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Planning, Production Control, Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and other team members.
