An entry level remote RN is a registered nurse who is just starting their nursing career and works remotely, often from home, providing patient care and support through telehealth services. Their responsibilities typically include patient education, triage, follow-up calls, health assessments, and collaborating with healthcare teams via digital platforms. Entry level remote RNs may work for hospitals, clinics, insurance companies, or telehealth providers, using technology to deliver quality nursing care without being physically present with the patient.

Familiarity with telehealth platforms, electronic health records (EHRs), and secure communication systems is typically required. Strong soft skills such as self-motivation, time management, and excellent virtual communication help RNs deliver care effectively from a remote setting. These skills and qualities are crucial for ensuring patient safety, compliance, and high-quality care in a digital healthcare environment.

Job description

Registered Nurse- Remote
At Aspire365, our mission is to deliver the highest quality, evidence-based care to individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. Using a wraparound approach, we integrate a team of therapists, nurses, psychiatrists, peer coaches, and case managers to create a comprehensive support network for our clients. This multidisciplinary collaboration ensures that every aspect of a client’s well-being is addressed, fostering recovery, stability, and long-term success. Our intensive, evidence-based program is designed to effectively treat chronic conditions and help clients achieve lasting wellness.
Aspire365 is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our multidisciplinary team in providing exceptional care to clients navigating mental health and substance use challenges. This role starts as part time and then transitions into full time work. This full-time role leverages telemedicine to deliver convenient and effective services, helping clients achieve their health and wellness goals. If you are a skilled communicator with a passion for making a difference, this opportunity could be the perfect fit for you!
This role will begin on a part-time basis during the training period, which is expected to last 1–2 months. Following training, the position will transition to full-time. We aim to fill this role with the right candidate by September.
Responsibilities
  • Provide client-centered care through frequent telehealth sessions, ensuring high-quality nursing support tailored to mental health and substance use challenges.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments, including vital signs, sleep patterns, and nutritional status, and create individualized care plans.
  • Support medication-assisted treatment (MAT) by coordinating with providers, ordering medications, and handling prior authorizations.
  • Monitor clients’ sleep and collaborate on the development and implementation of sleep plans.
  • Conduct health and wellness checkups, including tracking and documenting clinical observations.
  • Collect and process Point-of-Care saliva samples for testing, ensuring accurate documentation and communication with the care team.
  • Actively participate in data collection and research efforts in partnership with Yale University School of Medicine.
  • Maintain consistent communication and coordination with therapists, psychiatrists, peer coaches, and case managers as part of Aspire365’s wraparound care approach.
  • Address client concerns by managing prescription line emails, fax requests, lab results, and patient records in a timely and organized manner.
  • Uphold compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as HIPAA guidelines, while delivering ethical and professional care.
  • Attend training sessions and team coordination meetings to stay updated on Aspire365’s evidence-based curriculum and best practices.

Qualifications
  • Licensure: Current, active RN license in the state of Utah (required).
  • Skills: Strong clinical assessment abilities, competence in electronic medical record (EMR) documentation, and the ability to work autonomously while managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with remote work tools, including telehealth platforms, and proficiency in electronic communication.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Time Management: Strong self-organizational skills to manage a 50/50 split between client-facing and administrative tasks.
  • Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail in managing client records, lab results, and medication orders.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of HIPAA compliance, professional guidelines, and relevant state and federal regulations.
  • Preferred: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
