We are looking for non-profit accountants to join our growing organization. We are seeking detail-oriented accountants who will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for multiple clients. Your ability to manage client relationships, handle client concerns, and provide timely financial reporting will be crucial to our clients' satisfaction and our company's success.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required, ideally in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally focused specifically on the non-profit sector or fund accounting
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks or other accounting software
  • Experience managing multiple clients
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work during normal business hours to support our clients

Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple clients
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Assist with client projects
  • Assist with year-end close and tax filings as needed
