• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, documenting comprehensive clinical diagnoses and formulating individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing proven therapeutic modalities tailored to meet the unique goals of each client.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention to clients experiencing acute mental health crises, utilizing specific de-escalation techniques and safety planning.
• Maintain precise and confidential client records in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal standards, including documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment outcomes.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with interdisciplinary teams, contributing insights from therapy to guide comprehensive care strategies for clients.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, discussing various treatment options and available community resources, advocating for clients’ rights and needs throughout treatment.
• Commit to ongoing professional development by attending workshops, training sessions, and remaining current with the latest best practices and methodologies in mental health therapy.

At Presence of Mind Counseling Center, you will work predominantly with a diverse clientele that includes individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Our focus extends to couples and families, allowing you to address relational dynamics and foster healthier communication patterns among clients. You will have the opportunity to tailor your therapeutic techniques to meet the unique cultural, socioeconomic, and personal backgrounds of those you serve, promoting inclusive care.

• Active licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW) in the state of Tennessee.
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field; a Master's or Doctoral degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated clinical assessment and diagnostic capabilities.
• At least two years of relevant experience providing therapeutic services.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective client rapport and team collaboration.
• A strong sense of professionalism, ethical practice, and the ability to function both independently and as part of a cohesive team.

• Experience within a clinical setting, including familiarity with telehealth platforms, is advantageous but not mandatory for entry-level applicants.
• Knowledge of specific therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
