Job Description

The Patient Scheduling Representative is responsible for scheduling patient appointments while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with IU Health policies. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced call center environment while maintaining compassion and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently
  • Follow and reinforce all policies related to case scheduling
  • Communicate all necessary information for each scheduled appointment
  • Audit and/or complete electronic documentation of patient and case information in a timely manner
  • Meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, peers, and leadership on a daily basis
  • Demonstrate empathy and professionalism in all patient interactions

Required Skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
