This role is designed for remote work, allowing you to balance your professional responsibilities with personal commitments. Our therapists enjoy the flexibility of a home office while being supported by a centralized system that provides resources for effective client engagement. The typical schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, enabling a structured work routine with opportunities for work-life balance.

• Conduct virtual therapy sessions, utilizing secure online platforms to connect with clients.
• Assess clients' mental health needs through comprehensive evaluations and regular progress assessments, developing personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique situations.
• Employ solution-focused and evidence-based therapeutic techniques, guiding clients as they navigate through challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
• Facilitate goal-setting sessions, encouraging clients to set achievable objectives while providing them with the necessary tools and strategies to meet those goals.
• Create and maintain a supportive therapeutic environment that promotes openness and trust, ensuring clients feel safe to express their thoughts and feelings.
• Document all therapy sessions and client interactions in adherence to legal and ethical standards, ensuring thorough and accurate record-keeping.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participating in regular case reviews and professional development opportunities to enhance service delivery and therapeutic practices.

As a Licensed Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will be working with a diverse clientele that includes individuals from various cultural, socioeconomic, and experiential backgrounds. Our clients may seek help for a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, relationship struggles, and trauma. Understanding their unique perspectives enhances our therapeutic approach, enabling tailored interventions that respect their individuality.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Active licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC in the state of California.
• Experience with telehealth platforms to conduct therapy effectively online.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster open, honest communication with clients.

• A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling or a related field.
• Proficiency in utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to client needs.
• Knowledge of community resources and services that can be referred to clients for additional support.
