Position Overview

Wellpath Behavioral Health & Consulting Clinic is looking for a passionate and qualified Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial assessments and regular reviews of clients' mental health status through virtual meetings.
  • Develop and implement personalized therapy plans that may include individual therapy, group sessions, and wellness strategies.
  • Provide ongoing support by scheduling regular sessions with clients, utilizing evidence-based practices, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Facilitate connections with other healthcare professionals for clients who may require additional support, such as psychiatrists or support groups.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions and treatment progress using EHR systems.
  • Utilize crisis intervention skills to address acute issues as they arise, ensuring client safety and well-being.
  • Engage in continuous professional development by participating in training sessions and team meetings.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele comprising individuals challenged by mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and various emotional or behavioral issues. Your ability to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds will be crucial to fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship. Your expertise in culturally responsive treatment will enrich the care we provide, ensuring each individual feels understood and valued.

Qualifications
  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Washington.
  • A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting.
  • Adept understanding of various mental health disorders and treatment modalities, with a focus on evidence-based practices.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of clients.
  • Proficiency in utilizing EHR systems and related software for documentation and case management.
  • Commitment to ethical practices, confidentiality, and professional development.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience providing therapy in an outpatient setting, particularly with group therapy sessions.
  • Prior knowledge of substance use interventions and recovery programs.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care and practices that promote client empowerment.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
