Part-Time Insurance Office Support (~25-30 Hours/Month + Occasional Coverage)

Location: Atlanta, GA area (remote possible for phone-based work)
Hours: Approximately 25-30 hours per month — one consistent day per week (Tuesday or Friday preferred, but flexible), plus occasional additional days for vacation/sick coverage

About the Role

We’re a small, established State Farm agency in Atlanta looking for a reliable, personable part-time team member to help cover our office one day a week and provide backup coverage when needed. This is a great fit for someone who wants steady, predictable part-time hours without a big time commitment — perfect for a parent’s schedule or anyone looking for light supplemental income.
Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones and greet callers professionally
  • Take messages and route calls appropriately
  • Process payments and basic account updates
  • Schedule appointments
  • Make outbound calls to existing clients for policy review check-ins (script provided)
  • Make outbound calls to local businesses to set appointments around group life insurance options (this is appointment-setting/light cold-calling — we want to be upfront about this part of the role)
