This position offers the opportunity to work remotely, leveraging technology to stay connected with clients and colleagues while enjoying the flexibility of a home-based office. Our outpatient office setting means that you will primarily interact with individuals seeking therapy in a non-inpatient environment, focusing on immediate and accessible mental health solutions. Regular team meetings and collaborative case reviews will foster professional relationships and continuous learning.

• Conduct comprehensive client assessments to understand their unique mental health needs and aspirations.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.
• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions aimed at enhancing emotional well-being and interpersonal relationships.
• Facilitate goal-setting sessions with clients, assisting them in identifying actionable steps toward their mental health objectives.
• Maintain detailed and confidential client records in compliance with professional ethical standards and legal requirements.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in workshops, webinars, and training sessions to stay informed about advancements in mental health treatment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other health professionals, to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including adolescents, adults, and families dealing with various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clients represent various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, enriching the therapeutic process and requiring an adaptable approach to care.

• Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Possession of an active Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) license in Vermont.
• Proven ability to engage and build rapport with a diverse clientele through effective therapeutic techniques.
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based interventions that drive positive client outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enhancing client and colleague interactions.
• Strong aptitude for operating autonomously while also contributing to a collaborative team dynamic.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably in outpatient care.
• Experience working with specialized populations, such as children or individuals coping with complex PTSD.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital record-keeping systems.
