Our organization is dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized care, and we pride ourselves on our diversity and inclusivity. We focus on creating a supportive environment where every client feels valued and empowered. By integrating contemporary therapeutic methodologies and community-centered practices, we aim to help our clients navigate challenges effectively.

Work Environment

This position is designed for a remote work setting, enabling flexibility while maintaining our high standard of care. As part of our community health clinic, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers. Our remote infrastructure supports comprehensive communication and teamwork to ensure that clients receive coordinated and holistic care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and holistic assessments to identify clients' mental health issues, followed by formulating accurate clinical diagnoses and developing tailored treatment plans.
  • Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, employing various evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices, adjusted to meet the specific needs and goals of each client.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during acute mental health situations, ensuring clients receive the care and follow-up they need.
  • Maintain comprehensive and confidential client records, including treatment plans and progress notes, adhering to the legal and ethical standards of practice.
  • Engage with interdisciplinary teams to deliver collaborative care; participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and resources available in the community, advocating for clients’ accessibility to services as needed.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development through workshops, certifications, and training in the latest therapeutic practices to continually enhance your skill set and knowledge.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Touchstone Psychotherapy Center, you will work with a diverse range of clients from various backgrounds, facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our inclusive approach ensures that all clients, regardless of their personal circumstances or cultural identities, receive respectful and appropriate care that meets their specific needs. Your role will be pivotal in providing a safe space for clients to express themselves and work towards their mental health goals.

Qualifications
  • A valid mental health license is required, including LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW.
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Possessing strong clinical diagnostic and assessment capabilities.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical or therapeutic setting is required.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a strong therapeutic alliance with clients.
  • Ability to operate independently while also contributing positively as part of a cohesive team.
  • A commitment to uphold the highest ethical and professional standards in clinical practices.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in a community health clinic or similar environment is advantageous but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems to document client care effectively.
  • Experience in providing culturally competent therapy to diverse populations.
Compensation and Benefits

The yearly salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance options to ensure your wellbeing. Additional benefits include:

  • Continuing education and professional development opportunities to enhance your practice.
  • A supportive and collaborative work environment that values teamwork.
  • Flexible work schedules that allow for both full-time and part-time arrangements.
  • Paid time off and designated holidays to promote work-life balance.
  • Sign-on bonus to welcome new team members.
