Position Overview

Primacare Psychotherapy Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to join our team on a full-time basis. In this multifaceted role, you will provide high-quality therapeutic services to a diverse client base, contributing towards their mental health and overall wellbeing. Your expertise will be pivotal in assessing client needs, developing customized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that promote healing and personal growth.

About the Organization

At Primacare Psychotherapy Services, we are committed to enhancing the mental health of our community through compassionate and professional therapy. Our mission is to foster resilience and empower individuals to navigate life's challenges effectively. With a reputation for excellence, we combine evidence-based methods with a holistic approach to support our clients’ emotional and psychological needs, forming a pivotal part of their journey towards recovery.

Work Environment

This position is designed to be remote, allowing you to provide therapy from the comfort of your own home while also accommodating the needs of our clients in Mesa, Arizona, and beyond. This flexible work setting fosters a healthy work-life balance, enabling you to perform your duties efficiently while staying connected with your colleagues. Our outpatient office supports various therapy modalities, enhancing collaborative treatment approaches among professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' mental health issues, including the formulation of clinical diagnoses based on standardized evaluation tools.
  • Design and implement tailored treatment plans incorporating individual, group, and family therapy sessions, ensuring adherence to best practices in evidence-based modalities.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients facing acute mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and supportive counseling strategies.
  • Maintain meticulous records, documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments while ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards for confidentiality.
  • Collaborate effectively with a network of multidisciplinary professionals, such as psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide comprehensive care and resources for your clients.
  • Educate clients and their families on mental health topics, treatment trajectories, community resources, and advocate for their mental health needs within the therapeutic context.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through ongoing training, workshops, and participation in peer consultation to remain updated on industry best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, each facing unique challenges that require a personalized therapeutic approach. Population focus includes adolescents struggling with anxiety, couples addressing relational issues, and families coping with transitional life events. Your adaptability and empathy will play a critical role in fostering a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their emotional landscapes.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Arizona.
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related mental health field is required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster a trusting therapeutic alliance.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • A steadfast commitment to maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards in practice.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting is advantageous but not mandatory for entry-level positions.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and cultural competencies are encouraged.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance options, as well as generous paid time off (PTO) and holiday leave. We strive to support your personal and professional growth through continuous education opportunities and workshops designed to enhance your skills.

Career Growth Opportunities

At Primacare, we value career development and provide pathways for advancement within our organization. Whether you're interested in specialized clinical roles, supervisory functions, or program development, we encourage you to explore leadership opportunities and mentorship programs that support your career aspirations.

Why Join Our Team

By joining Primacare Psychotherapy Services, you’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive work environment that values integrity and passion for mental health care. You will have the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve while cultivating your professional skills in a remote work setting tailored to your work-life balance needs. We proudly welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds and experiences, fostering an inclusive team that reflects the communities we serve.
