Position Overview

Primacare Psychotherapy Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis. This role will primarily focus on providing remote therapeutic services to a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, families, and groups. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments using standardized tools to evaluate clients’ psychological conditions and prepare clinical diagnoses.
• Create detailed treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs, incorporating evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Facilitate individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, adapting therapeutic interventions to target specific issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients facing acute psychological crises, employing techniques that stabilize emotional responses and develop safety plans.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client documentation, including progress notes and treatment summaries, according to ethical guidelines and HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with other health professionals, such as psychiatrists and case managers, to coordinate comprehensive care strategies.
• Engage in client and family education, helping them understand mental health dynamics, available resources, and treatment options.
• Commit to ongoing professional education and training to stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health practices and methodologies.

The clientele you will serve range from children to adults, each facing unique mental health challenges. Qualifications

• A valid state license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) is required.

• Proven expertise in clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with a minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health therapy.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and other healthcare team members.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a clinical or community health setting is advantageous but not strictly required for motivated candidates.

Compensation and Benefits
