Premire Counseling & Wellness Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote team in Austin, Texas. • Conduct individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, tailoring approaches to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Utilize evidence-based methodologies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), to ensure effective interventions.
• Maintain thorough and confidential records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Develop treatment plans that incorporate the specific cultural, social, and emotional contexts of clients.
• Engage in regular supervision and professional development opportunities, including training in teletherapy techniques.
• Actively participate in team meetings to discuss client care strategies, share progress, and collaborate with colleagues.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families as needed, equipping them with tools for ongoing mental health management.
• Stay informed about ethics, clinical standards, and relevant laws in the mental health field to ensure compliance and high-quality care.

You will work with a diverse range of clients from various cultural backgrounds, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Your approach will be sensitive to each client's unique background, allowing for more personalized therapy that respects cultural customs and expectations. Our mission emphasizes creating a safe and accepting space for all, particularly focusing on marginalized communities.

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted LMFT license.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to provide bilingual psychotherapy services.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a mental health setting.
• Demonstrated commitment to respecting diverse cultural perspectives and individual client needs.
• Strong written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills.
• Ability to establish rapport and trust with a wide variety of clients.
• Competency in using EHR software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.

• Training in one or more therapeutic modalities such as CBT, TF-CBT, or EMDR.
• Areas of specialization such as Trauma Recovery, LGBTQ+ Issues, Grief & Loss, or Perinatal Mental Health.
• Experience providing telehealth services effectively in a HIPAA-compliant manner.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet client availability.
