Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, establishing clinical diagnoses, and collaboratively developing personalized treatment plans.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored specifically to the needs of each client.
  • Provide crisis intervention during acute mental health emergencies, employing appropriate techniques to ensure safety and de-escalate challenging situations effectively.
  • Document all aspects of client care meticulously, including assessment results, treatment plans, and progress notes, in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive treatment approach, ensuring holistic support for our clients.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health challenges, coping mechanisms, and available community resources, acting as an advocate when necessary to represent their unique needs.
  • Participate in continuous professional development through workshops, training, and peer supervision to remain current with best practices and innovations in mental health therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse population including children, adolescents, adults, and families affected by various mental health conditions. Your ability to analyze distinct behavioral patterns and emotional challenges will enable you to employ targeted strategies that empower clients, support recovery processes, and promote resilience.

Qualifications
  • Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) in Washington State.
  • A bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field is required; a master's or doctoral degree is strongly preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic capabilities with a minimum of two years of direct counseling experience.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work autonomously while also functioning effectively within a team framework, embracing a collaborative mindset.
  • Dedication to upholding ethical and professional standards at all times in clinical practice.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in an outpatient clinical setting is advantageous but may not be required for entry-level candidates. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing treatment plans and engaging in multidisciplinary team meetings.
