Role Description This is a part‐time (with potential for full‐time growth) remote role for an Accountant with Xero experience at JF Bell Group.

The Accountant will be responsible for sales entries, accounts payable entries, bank reconciliations, and will help with financial report preparation. The role involves ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting the financial operations of veterinary practices. What You'll Bring Knowledge of debits and credits, as well as basic bookkeeping entries.

Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Office365, and a strong understanding of cloud‐based tools. A track record of reliability and quick learning—people trust you to get the job done right. Fundamental understanding of payroll. A love for reconciliation—you find satisfaction in balancing the books. A well‐organized approach to work—you can juggle tasks efficiently. Enthusiasm for remote work with a well‐prepared home office environment. Veterinary practice experience is a significant advantage.

Familiarity with tools like Xero, Hubdoc, Gusto, Plooto, Guideline, and Track1099. Financial Statements and Bookkeeping skills. Experience with Xero Accounting Software. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management. Ability to work independently and remotely. Experience in the veterinary industry is a plus. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Knowledge of Xero software is a must.
