About This Role
Textron Systems is seeking a Marketing Associate to support Marketing & Communications (MARCOM) activities across multiple business lines, gaining exposure to the full portfolio and developing foundational business acumen.
The Marketing Associate will build technical functional skills across the marketing mix. This role offers hands-on learning opportunities including development of marketing materials across channels and formats, conducting and summarizing research, gathering and sharing data and metrics, shadowing our MARCOM Business Partners, collaborating with MARCOM centers of excellence, and taking ownership of both recurring duties and individual projects.
Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
  • Support the development, execution and measurement of marketing campaigns and content across internal and external channels.

  • Help conduct audience and competitive research to inform messaging and positioning.

  • Draft and update product/program content, marketing collateral, digital content and other marketing materials across formats and channels.

  • Collaborate with Creative Services/Digital Development, External Communications, Employee Communications, and Trade Shows & Events teams to execute work.

  • Assist in developing shot lists/storyboards and participate in photo and video shoot coordination.

  • Support local, regional, and national events, including trade shows, demonstrations, conferences, and internal meetings.

  • Participate in project initiation, approval processes, and quality checks.

  • Take on assigned individual projects and recurring duties that contribute to strategic marketing initiatives.

  • Submitting invoices and working with vendor partners.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Travel requirements: up to 40%.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn marketing systems and content management tools (e.g., Sprout, Hive, SharePoint, Bynder , Gather Content).

  • Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn with a resourceful approach to research and problemsolving .

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or a related discipline required.

  • Internship experience or relevant project work preferred.
